Inspired by the energy and diversity of Capel Street, ONÓRA will be a contemporary neighbourhood restaurant celebrating quality Irish produce and seasonal cooking.

Designed as a relaxed and welcoming space, ONÓRA will bring together all-day dining, creative cocktails and a lively coffee hatch, creating a place that feels warm, energetic and easy to return to.

More than anything, we want ONÓRA to be a place people come back to for great food, genuine hospitality and an effortless atmosphere.

In partnership with the Bereen Brothers, our opening team will have the opportunity to work alongside some of Ireland’s leading hospitality talent as we bring ONÓRA to life from day one.

We’re now building that team and looking for people who care about the details, enjoy looking after others and want to help shape a restaurant from the very beginning.

The Job

As Bar Supervisor at ONÓRA, you’ll be a key part of the day-to-day experience, bringing energy, personality and consistency to both the bar and the floor.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys the full rhythm of hospitality. You’ll make great drinks, look after guests, support service and help create the kind of atmosphere people want to return to. Depending on the moment, that might mean leading the bar, serving a table, welcoming regulars or moving between different areas of the location.

You’ll also help guide the team during service, keep standards high and make sure each shift runs smoothly. We’re also teaming up with Drinks Studio to bring the drinks offering at ONÓRA to life from the very beginning!

Key Responsibilities

• Lead by example during service and support the team throughout each shift

• Deliver warm, personal and attentive service across the bar and floor

• Prepare and serve drinks to a consistently high standard

• Build genuine relationships with guests and help create a welcoming atmosphere

• Support the smooth running of both the restaurant and other guest areas

• Keep an eye on service flow, standards and presentation throughout the day

• Coach and support team members where needed

• Help with opening and closing procedures, stock control and daily bar organisation

• Work closely with the wider F&B team to ensure a seamless guest experience

• Step in wherever needed, whether behind the bar, on the floor or supporting the team during busy moments

What we are looking for

• Previous experience in a bar, restaurant or hospitality environment

• A natural host who enjoys connecting with guests and creating a welcoming atmosphere

• Confident behind the bar, but just as comfortable supporting the floor

• A hands-on team player who leads by example

• Someone with a good eye for detail and consistently high standards

• Calm, positive and organised, even when service gets busy

• A genuine interest in food, drinks and great hospitality

• Someone who enjoys supporting and motivating others

• Flexible, curious and happy to step in wherever needed

• Most importantly, someone who brings good energy and enjoys being part of a team
